BMW MINI-FESTIVAL, ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
weetu joined up with Uniplan in Cologne, Germany to create an experience concept for the 3-day MINI-UNITED FESTIVAL. weetu played a major role in conceptualizing the visitor experience, creating a visual brand, and planning the architecture of the site, including temporary housing concepts with proposed interlocking, stacking pod structures. A key feature of the visitor experience was the site map. weetu designed a perforated dymaxion map that guests could fold and hang from their rearview mirror.
The event included multiple stages, VIP zones with bar/lounge/spa treatments, exhibition spaces, an open market, sponsorship market, and “play satellites”, which included game/play zones, catering hubs, fundraising area and entertainment. Event zones arose from inflatable, temporary structures.
